By decisions of the Anti-Corruption Court dated January 16 and January 20, 2026, the latest claims filed by the Department for the Protection of State Interests of the Prosecutor General’s Office have been granted. After the judicial acts enter into legal force, a total amount equivalent to USD 134,000—namely AMD 51,791,000—will be confiscated in favor of the Republic of Armenia.

It should be reminded that the Department for the Protection of State Interests of the Prosecutor General’s Office had filed claims with the Anti-Corruption Court against three individuals, demanding compensation for damage caused to the state as a result of unpaid tax obligations.
