The Anti-Corruption Court partially granted claim of the Prosecutor’s Office for the confiscation of property of illicit origin based on the opinion expressed in Decision No. SDО-1776 of the Constitutional Court.

According to the decision, the following property belonging to Serob Harutyunyan—who held various positions in the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, the Police and the National Security Service—will be confiscated in favor of the Republic of Armenia:

• one apartment on Northern Avenue, the market value whereof was approximately AMD 206 million as of 2021;

• a 78/100 share of one parking space on Northern Avenue, the market value whereof was approximately AMD 8 million as of 2021;

• an 824/1000 share of one parking space on Northern Avenue, the market value whereof was approximately AMD 8 million as of 2021;

• a 2/5 share of a real estate property on Chekhov Street in Yerevan, the market value whereof was approximately AMD 105 million as of 2021;

• AMD 207 million 452 thousand, to be recovered from properties registered in the name of Serob Harutyunyan, as well as actually belonging to him.

The confiscation will be carried out after the judicial act enters into legal force.
