The Prosecutor General admitted the Ambassador of Netherlands in Armenia

Today Anna Vardapetyan, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, admitted Nicolas Schermers, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Armenia, and discussed the framework of issues relating to bilateral interests with the ambassador.

 

The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia thanked for legal assistance and efficient cooperation in the sphere of struggle against organized crime and international crimes, stressing confidently, that the cooperation will be continuative and will give new quality to the Armenian-Dutch relations. 

 

During the meeting, Anna Vardapetyan touched on the priorities of Prosecutor’s Office reforms. The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia stressed the formation of the registration and statics maintaining of electronic system for the overloaded work of the prosecutors, the improvement of prosecutors’ legal education, the works directed to the organization of trainings relating to the prosecutors’ external communication, and in this context the opportunities and objectives of cooperation in the mentioned spheres were discussed with the ambassador.

 

 

Ambassador Schermers stressed that the Kingdom of Netherlands supports the rule of law, democracy and human rights defense in Armenia and in this context highlighted the role and importance of Prosecutor’s Office.

 

 

         The Ambassador of Netherlands in Armenia expressed his willingness to discuss the opportunities of the cooperation in the mentioned directions set forth by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.
