Within the framework of its authority to protect state (community) interests, the Prosecutor’s Office of Armavir region filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court on May 14, 2025 against the Head of the Vagharshapat community, “Ejmiatsin Shuka” LLC, and third party Karen Manvel Grigoryan, as well as the Cadastre Committee, demanding, i.a., to declare invalid the 2015 tenders and apply the legal consequences of invalidity.
By the verdict dated April 16, 2026, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim of the Prosecutor’s Office of Armavir region. The court declared invalid the tenders for granting development rights over two land plots with areas of 1,175 sq. m and 587 sq. m, which are classified under Article 60 of the Land Code as park areas.
As a consequence of invalidity, i.a., the state registration of ownership rights over the land plots in the names of private individuals was also declared invalid.
Once the verdict enters into legal force, the 1,175 sq. m and 587 sq. m land plots will be returned to the Vagharshapat community of Armavir region.
