By the orders of the Prosecutor General a number of personnel changes took place in the Prosecutor’s Office

By the orders of Anna Vardapetyan, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, dated April-May 2026, а number of personnel changes took place in the Prosecutor's Office.

 

In particular:

 

  • Hrant Nersisyan has been appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor at the Department for Combating Crimes against Human of the Prosecutor General’s Office and was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor at the Department for Combating Crimes against Human of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

 

  • Andranik Shahbazyan has been appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor at the Department for Combating Crimes against Human of the Prosecutor General’s Office and was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor at the Department for Combating Crimes against Human of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
  • Tigran Yenokyan, Deputy Head of the Department for Crimes against Public Health of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia was dismissed from his position.

 

  • Gurgen Gurgenyan has been appointed to the position of Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan City and was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of the same Prosecutor’s Office.

 

  • Merine Sahakyan has been appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of  Erebuni and Nubarashen Administrative Districts of Yerevan City and was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of the same Prosecutor’s Office. 

 

  • Vardan Poghosyan, the Prosecutor of Ararat Region was dismissed from his position.

 

  • Rem Rshtuni, the Deputy Prosecutor of Ararat Region was dismissed from his position.

 

  • Gagik Mnatsakanyan Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ararat Region was dismissed from his position.

 

  • Areg Khachatryan, the Deputy Prosecutor of Shirak Region was transferred to the position of the Deputy Prosecutor of Ararat Region and was entrusted with the duties of the Prosecutor of Ararat Region.

 

  • Rafayel Arsenyan has been appointed to the position of the Deputy Prosecutor of Ararat Region.

 

  • Ashot Harutyunyan, the Prosecutor of Gegharkunik Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office, was dismissed from his position.

 

  • Alik Grigoryan, the Prosecutor of Ararat Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office, was dismissed from his position.

 

  • Petros Harutyunyan, the Prosecutor of Kapan Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office, was dismissed from his position.
