On April 26, 2026, the ownership right of the Republic of Armenia was registered on the property with an area of ​​about 20.6 hectares in the village of Kanakeravan, Nor Hachn community, Kotayk Region. The average market value of the property is AMD 323 million 800 thousand (about 871 thousand US dollars).

It should be recalled that the Prosecutor General's Office had concluded a settlement agreement in the case of confiscation of property of illegal origin to transfer the property with an average market value of AMD 323 million 800 thousand to the ownership of the Republic of Armenia, which was approved by the court decision on March 5, 2026.

On August 29, 2023, the Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit with the Anti-Corruption Court for the confiscation of property of illegal origin against Manuk Hakobyan, assistant to the former Head of Abovyan community of Kotayk Region, Karapet Guloyan, and his wife.

The civil case regarding the demand for the confiscation of other properties included in the claim is still ongoing.
