Today Anna Vardapetyan, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, received the delegation headed by Amin Hossein Rahimi, the Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The delegation also included H.E. Mehdi Sobhani the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia.

Anna Vardapetyan welcomed the Minister of Justice of Iran and the members of the delegation at the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia and emphasized the importance of developing cooperation between the relevant institutions of the two countries.

Amin Hossein Rahimi, the Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressed his gratitude to Anna Vardapetyan, the Prosecutor General of Armenia, for the meeting and for her willingness to discuss issues of mutual interest.

The Iranian Minister highly appreciated the efforts of the Armenian Prosecutor General in combating corruption in Armenia and, in this context, addressed several issues related to the extradition of wanted persons and the provision of legal assistance.
