The Prosecutor's Office of the Tavush region, within the framework of the authority to protect state (community) interests, examined the documents of the community kindergarten building located at 11, 9th Street, owned by the Khashtarak settlement of Ijevan community of Tavush region, with an area of 198.45 square meters.
As a result of the examination, it was found that on February 27, 2017, the Khashtarak rural community of Tavush region, represented by the head of the community, concluded a real estate lease agreement. According to the agreement, the kindergarten building was leased to A.M. for a period of 25 years with an annual rent of AMD 165 thousand.
The examination of the materials also revealed that as a result of the lease agreement concluded on February 27, 2017, the above-mentioned real estate handed over was not included in the kindergarten renovation program launched on October 24, 2023. As a result, the kindergarten in the Khashtarak settlement of the Ijevan community was not completely renovated.
The Prosecutor of the Tavush region sent a letter to the head of the Ijevan community to terminate the real estate lease agreement and restore the Ijevan community's right to possess and use the above-mentioned property, creating an opportunity to later include the part of the kindergarten building that was excluded from the program in the renovation works.
As a result of the measures taken by the competent authorities of the Ijevan community, the state registration of the lease right to the real estate located at 11, 9th Street, Khashtarak settlement was canceled. The 198.45 square meter building of the kindergarten in the Khashtarak settlement was returned to the possession and use of the Ijevan community.
