On May 2, 2025, the prosecutor sent the criminal proceeding with the confirmed indictment to the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan City.

It’s worth mentioning that on 12 January 2023 a criminal proceeding was initiated at the Investigative Committee. On March 18, 2025 the prosecutor initiated a public criminal case against N. A. under Article 196, Part 2, Points 3, 6 and 8 of the RA Criminal Code (two episodes).

The criminal proceedings revealed that the mother of two minors, from November 2021 to January 7, 2023 regularly subjected minors to physical and mental violence. In particular, she regularly used physical violence against them, as well as left them alone in one of the buildings in Yerevan for one or more days, without parental supervision and care, without food.

On May 2, 2025, the criminal proceedings, confirmed by the indictment, were transferred to the competent court.
