On May 19, 2025, the Prosecutor submitted to the First Instance court of General Jurisdiction of Shirak region, the criminal proceeding regarding the person charged with the murder committed on November 2, 2024, in the territory belonging to the central park of Meghrashen settlement, Artik community. 

Let us remind that on November 2, 2024 a report was received from the Operational Management Center of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that in the territory belonging to the central park of Meghrashen community A.A. struck G.G. in the chest with a cutting and piercing tool, thus unlawfully depriving G.G. of life.

In the scope of the criminal proceeding pending at the Shirak Regional Investigative Department, on May 12, 2025, the prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against A.A. under part 1 of article 155 of the Criminal Code (murder).

Detention was chosen as a measure of restraint against A.A..

On May 19, 2025, the criminal proceeding and the signed indictment were submitted to the competent court.

 Notice:  A person charged with any crime shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code—by the judgment came into legal force.
