The Anti-corruption court accepted into proceedings another statement of claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the confiscation of illicit property.

The Department of Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a claim to the court with the requirement to confiscate from Mher Gevorgyan (father’s name: Vardan), former Head of Gyulakarak community of Lori region and related persons in favor of the Republic of Armenia:

• 5 immovable properties
• 1 movable property
• AMD 23 million as a remainder of illicit income
• AMD 92 million 313 thousand as a sum total of funds not substantiated by the lawful income of the person,  having an illicit origin, and transferred to the bona fide purchaser or not identified
