Based on the decision of Anna Vardapetyan, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia dated November 3, 2023 a disciplinary penalty was initiated against the person holding an autonomous position in the Prosecutor’s Office of Yerevan city.  

In the scope of the proceedings it was confirmed that the prosecutor violated the rules of conduct of the prosecutor as well as internal rules of labour discipline. Particularly, during the working hours the prosecutor failed to attend his workplace on a regular basis and without a valid reason.

On November 27, 2023, the results of the disciplinary proceedings were submitted to the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

By the decision of the Ethics commission dated November 30, 2023, both the existence of disciplinary violation and the guilt of the prosecutor were confirmed.

By the order of the Prosecutor General of December 1, 2023, a disciplinary penalty in the form of “reprimand” was applied against the person holding an autonomous position in the Prosecutor’s Office of Yerevan city.
