Staff reforms took place in the Prosecutor’s Office based on the orders of Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, dated September 6 and 7, 2023. 

Particularly:

• Gevorg Gevorgyan, Prosecutor of Shengavit Administrative District of the city of Yerevan was transferred to the position of the Prosecutor of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts of the city of Yerevan from September 8, 2023.

• Vigen Militonyan, Prosecutor of Avan and Nor Nork Administrative District of the city of Yerevan was transferred to the position of the Prosecutor of Shengavit Administrative District from September 8, 2023.

• Vahagn Poghosyan, Deputy Prosecutor of Shengavit Administrative District of the city of Yerevan was seconded to the vacant position of the Senior Prosecutor of the Department of Supervision over Legality of Pre-Trial Proceedings in the RA Anti-Corruption Committee of the Prosecutor General’s Office from September 8, 2023 until December 11, 2023. 

• Garnik Vardanyan was dismissed from the position of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan city and appointed to the position of the Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of the same administrative districts.

• Armen Kareyan was dismissed from the position of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Armavir region and appointed to the position of the Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Armavir region.
