A.B., a resident of Yerevan, after the announcement was published about the agreement between the Republic of Armenia, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan to end the war unleashed by the Republic of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh on September 27, 2020, learning about the mass disorders in front of the Government building, joined them.
He joined the mass disorders in Demirchyan street, in front of the building of the National Assembly and tried to commit violence against A.M., President of the National Assembly.
T.A., noticing that the military servants of the State Security Service of the NSS are trying to take A.M. away from the scene, climbed on the engine cover of the vehicle parked there and several times kicked A.M., standing in front of the car at that moment, as a result of which the President of the National Assembly fell to the ground. Afterwards he approached A.M. lying on the ground without having an opportunity to protect himself and went on with kicking him in different parts of the body.
As a result of the actions of T.A. and others, A.M. received a lot of bodily injuries, was taken to the "Erebuni" Medical Center in an unconscious state, where it was possible to save his life.
T.A.'s crime was not committed due to circumstances beyond his control, as A.M.'s security and some of the bystanders prevented his actions.
On June 15, 2023, T.A. was charged under Article 34-305 of the RA Criminal Code adopted 18.04.2003.
Detention was imposed against T.A. as a measure of restraint.
On June 30, 2023, the indictment was confirmed by the supervising prosecutor and submitted to the Criminal Court of First Instance of Yerevan City along with the case files.
