The Prosecutor's Office submitted 235 appeals to the Court in 2 months within the framework of the authority to initiate a lawsuit for the protection of community interests

In the framework of initiating a lawsuit for the protection of community interests, 235 appeals were submitted by the Prosecutor General’s Office from April 6, 2023 to June 6, 2023.

 

It should be noted that the National Assembly adopted the Draft Law “On making amendments and additions to the Law on the Prosecutor's Office” on March 1, 2023. Due to the amendments the Prosecutor’s Office is authorized to submit appeals to the Court for the protection of community interests, to dispute the illegal orders and decisions of community leaders, based on which parks, gardens, kindergartens and other immovable properties falling under the ownership of the communities were alienated.

 

The Department of State Interests Protection submitted 145 appeals to the Court from April 6, 2023 to June 6, 2023: 134 of them for dispute, 1 – filed in accordance with civil procedure order, 9 – for recognition, 1 – for disputing the legality of the notary's act.

 

1 claims on challenging was submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts.

 

3 claims were submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of Malatia - Sebastia administrative district – 2 of which were on dispute, and 1 - on recognition.

 

6 claims were submitted to the Prosecutor's office of Kentron and Nork - Marash administrative districts.

 

1 claims on recognition was submitted by the Prosecutor's Office of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts, 1 claim on dispute was submitted by the Prosecutor's Office of Aragatsotn region, 8 claims on dispute were submitted by the Prosecutor's Office of Ararat region, 7 claims were submitted by the Prosecutor's Office of Armavir region.

 

8 claims were submitted by the Prosecutor's Office of Lori region, 3 claims by the Prosecutor's Office of Syunik redgion, 7 claims by the Prosecutor's Office of Vayots Dzor region, 5 claims by the of Tavush region, 7 claims by the Prosecutor's Office of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative districts.
