G.B. prisoner of Vanadzor penitentiary institution called the government agencies during October, November and December 2022 and January 2023 and raised alarms about bomb placement.

Particularly by the criminal proceedings examined in the Main Directorate of Investigation of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia it was found out that on October 7, 2022 at 11:15, G.B. called Lori Provincial Department of the Police with the telephone intended for general use in the penitentiary institution and reported that by his instruction a bomb was placed in the basements of the building of First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lori region and Prosecutor’s Office of Lori region. As a result of the examination of buildings of the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office they didn’t find any bomb or explosive device.

In another case, on October 7, 2022 the latter called Rescue Department of Lori region and reported that a bomb is placed in the offices of L.A. judge of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lori region and K.G. Prosecutor of Lori region. As a result of the examination of buildings of the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office they didn’t find any bomb or explosive device.

Besides that on November 2 and 16, 2022, G.B. called the Rescue Department of Lori region and reported that a bomb and an explosive device is placed in Vanadzor Medical Center and in the office of T.T, Investigator of the Lori Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee. The Information was checked and it was found out that the alarm is false.

On December 2, 21, 30, 2022, G.B. called the Rescue Department of Lori region, Operational Management Center of the Police of the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Ministry of Justice and informed that a bomb was placed in the office of M.A., Judge of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lori region, and in the building of the Prosecutor’s Office of Yerevan and in the building of the Ministry of Justice: The Information was checked and it was found out that the alarm is false.

On May 26, 2023, the supervising prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against G.B. under part 1 of article 314 (4 cases), point 1 of part 2 of article 314 (6 cases),   of the Criminal Code that has entered into force on 01.07.2022.

On June 2, 2023, the Prosecutor signed the indictment and submitted it with the materials of the criminal case to the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lori region.
