On June 9, 2023, Anna Vardapetyan, the Prosecutor General of the RA paid a working visit to the Sevan Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office with Grigor Elizbaryan, Military Prosecutor, Deputy Prosecutor General of the RA.

Within the working consultation, the prosecutors of the Garrison Prosecutor's Office reported on the criminal proceedings that are being investigated for a long time and are more complicated. As a result of the discussion, instructions were given by the Prosecutor General of the RA to conduct an effective investigation.

Anna Vardapetyan referred to the examination of criminal proceedings that have been examined for more than 8 months and emphasized the need to observe the terms of the proceedings.

Then the Prosecutor General of the RA, accompanied by the Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia, visited the 2^nd Army Corps of the Ministry of Defense of the RA, and had discussions with the commander and staff of the Army Corps.

The commander of the army corps presented the current problems and the border situation to the Prosecutor General of RA.

During the visit, Prosecutor General Vardapetyan also had meetings with the personnel performing combat duty in the Verin Shorzha village of Gegharkunik marz and got acquainted with the situation in the contact line.
