The bill of indictment regarding A.G., regularly exercising violence against his former wife and her parents was confirmed by the decision of the prosecutor supervising over the legality of pre-trial proceedings. On the 3rd of January, 2023, the bill of indictment was delivered to the court along with the materials of the proceedings.
The Prosecutor General’s Office reported that A.G. had regularly exercising violence against J.M., his wife and H.M. and M.A, her parents, since the 25th of February, 2022.
The violence was accompanied by bodily injuries of light and non-light damage to the health of the above-mentioned persons and physical pain.
Taking into account the nature of the illegal actions carried out by the mentioned person for a long time and the necessity to prevent them, on the 19th of October and the 28th of November, 2022, the supervising prosecutor decided to initiate a new public criminal prosecution against A.G. on 19 count and it was sent to the authority conducing the proceedings to file a charge.
A.G. was arrested on the same day. A motion was submitted on the application of two-month remand to the latter as a preventive measure. The court granted the motion.
A two-month remand was applied to A.G. as a preventive measure, which was extended for another two months in December 2022.
