22 criminal cases have been investigated in the Department for Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes of the RA Prosecutor General’s  Office concerning the abuse of official position, official fraud, embezzlement, bribery and other crimes.

16 cases out of them are concerning the school principals, 4 directors of kindergartens, and 2 university officials. By the two criminal cases, criminal prosecution against directors of four kindergartens has been initiated, and by the other four criminal cases criminal prosecution has been initiated against the directors of four schools.

The damage inflicted to the state by 22 criminal cases is 33.227.700 drams, out of which during the investigation 2.123.000 drams have been returned.
