From November 24, 2020 to July 22, 2021, B.P.- the forester of the 5th forest unit of Dsegh Forestry of the branch of "Hayantar" SNCO of "Dsegh Forestry", did not properly fulfill his duties in the result of which 52 trees and 7 branches of various types were illegally cut down, causing damage of 5 million 43 thousand AMD to the state.
In the course of the preliminary investigation, B. P. did not recover the damage caused.
On September 6, 2021, criminal proceedings were initiated. On March 28, 2022, B. P. was charged under Article 315, part 2 of the Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003 (official negligence).
On March 20, 2023, the prosecutor sent the criminal proceedings to the court with an indictment. At the same time, a lawsuit was filed to recover the damage caused to the state.
