Today under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Arthur Poghosyan, the regular meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the issues of the restoration of the damage caused to the State and communities, which are in the phase of pre-trial proceedings took place.
The representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, Anticorruption Committee, Investigation Department of the National Security Service, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice and State Revenue Committee participated in the meeting.
The representatives of the preliminary investigation bodies have introduced the quantitative data about the available funds in the deposit accounts of that preliminary investigation body, also the works done in the direction of finding out the source of these funds.
The Deputy Head of the Department of Organization, Supervision and Legal Assistance of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, Mher Mkrtchyan introduced to the working group the suggested legal solutions about the efficient accounting of the appropriate budgets for restoring the damages caused to the State and communities in the criminal cases.
Recommendations and means of efficient solution for organizing the process for having a unified treasury account for restoring the damage caused to the State and communities were at the meeting.
Appropriate recommendations were given by the chair of the working group, the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Artur Poghosyan for concluding the presented suggestions and the current works aimed at introducing suggestions to the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia until the end of the year.
