15.09.2022 | The newly elected Prosecutor General assumed her duties

 Today a board meeting was held at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia chaired by Artur Davtyan, who is completing his constitutional term as the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, and by Anna Vardapetyan, who has assumed the position of the Prosecutor General.


 The participants of the meeting observed a minute of silence in memory of the soldiers who were killed while resisting the criminal military encroachment unleashed by the Republic of Azerbaijan on the sovereign territory and against the population of the Republic of Armenia since September 13.


 Artur Davtyan congratulated Anna Vardapetyan for the appointment on that position expressing confidence that under her leadership, the process of establishing a legal state in Armenia will be steady and effective. Artur Davtyan expressed his thankfulness the members of the board of the RA Prosecutor's Office, the heads of the subdivisions of Prosecutor's Office and all the employees of the Prosecutor's Office for their joint activity over the past 6 years for their legal stability in the difficult period for the republic, and wished them further success.


 Anna Vardapetyan, who assumed the position of RA Prosecutor General, thanked Artur Davtyan for his activity in the system in the previous years, for his service to the state, and wished him new successes.
