Artur Davtyan, the RA Prosecutor General paid an official visit to the Republic of Belarus to take part in the 32nd Session of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the Member-states of the Commonwealth of Independent States to be held in Minsk.
During the regular annual session of the Coordinating Council, the experience of the CIS member states and the functions of the prosecutor's offices in the spheres of legalization and return of illegal assets, protection of business rights in the scope of criminal proceedings, extremism, terrorism, fight against illegal migration and other questions will be discussed.
The agenda of the session also includes the situation of the implementation of international agreements in the field of crime, prosecutorial and investigative activity, the fight against criminality in the member states, as well as reports on the outcomes of the Coordination Council in 2021, implementation of the measures envisaged under the cooperation programs in special directions approved by the coordinating council in the previous years and the new opportunities for cooperation.
In the framework of the session of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS member states, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia will have meetings with the Prosecutors General of separate partner countries.
