15.10.2021 | The RA Prosecutors have visited Moscow for training

The prosecutors of the Republic of Armenia and Federation of Russia will have training in the University of the Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation, Moscow till 26 of October.  


Oksana Kapinus, Professor of the Academy of Science of Russia, greeted the prosecutors. She has emphasized that the training program aims at improving the prosecutors’ qualification. The training program is conducted in the scope of the 2021-2025 Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the RA and RF Prosecutor General’s Offices.


The Rector of the University of the Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation wished success to the prosecutors and expressed her assurance that the training would be useful, and the prosecutors would be able to apply the knowledge acquired in their daily practice.


Vyacheslav Mikheev, the Head of the Division of Extradition of General Department of International-legal Cooperation of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation took part in the opening ceremony. He emphasized the necessity of continuous cooperation between the Prosecutor’s Offices of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.


On 20 October a round table entitled “Actual issues of prosecutorial supervision over criminal procedure activities and the prosecutor’s participation in criminal proceedings” was conducted with the participation of Armenian and Russian prosecutors.


7 prosecutors from the subdivisions of the RA Prosecutor General’s Office, prosecutor’s offices of regions take part in the training.
