We are deeply sorry to inform you that after a long illness at the age of 37 the prosecutor of the Department of International Legal Cooperation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia, Counselor of Justice of the 2nd Class Heghine Badalyan passed away. The RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan expressed condolences:

 

“With deep sorrow, I learned about the premature death of the prosecutor of the Department of International Legal Cooperation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the RA, Counselor of Justice of the 2nd Class H. Badalyan.

 

It is very hard and difficult to find words for regret concerning the loss of a young woman, especially a colleague who has not fully experienced the joy of life.

 

Heghine Badalyan with her humanity, modesty, ability to communicate with everyone and sincerity was loved and respected by everyone. She has always stood out with her great responsibility for the fulfillment of her duties, tasks assigned to her, tireless work, integrity and diligence.

 

Heghine Badalyan left a radiance of light, warmth, kindness and dear memories in the hearts of the people who worked with her at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia and knew her, as well as bitter sadness for her youth, which she did not enjoy, for her life and unfulfilled dreams.

 

On behalf of the whole staff of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I express my condolences to the relatives and friends of our dear colleague in connection with this irreversible, premature and serious loss. I wish You patience in this difficult moment. "

 

Biography

Born on August 14, 1982, Yerevan.

 

Education

1999-2005 - State Engineering University of Armenia, MA after BA Degree of State and Municipal Administration

2007-2010 - Yerevan University of Management, (Lawyer)

2011-2013 - American University of Armenia, Master of Law

She began her career in 2003 as an editor at the Intellectual Property Agency.

During 2003-2013 worked in the Ministry of Justice, as a first class specialist in the Division of Economic Legislation of the Department of the Expertise of Legal Acts of the Staff, then as an assistant to the Head of the Staff and assistant to the Deputy Minister.

In 2013 was transferred to the prosecutor’s office system, first as an assistant to the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, then as a chief specialist of the secretariat of the RA Prosecutor General’s Office Staff.

By the decree of 07.04.2018 of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia was appointed as a prosecutor of the Department of International Legal Cooperation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia and received the class of counselor of justice of the second class.

Never married.
