In order to ensure the fulfillment of the instructions of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, a meeting has been held at the Prosecutor’s Office of Lori region with the participation of the heads of Lori regional police department and traffic police, representatives of marzpetaran of Lori region and leaders of large urban communities. Questions of planning and implementing comprehensive measures to improve the effectiveness of preventive measures against burglaries and criminal traffic violations have been on the agenda.
The participants of the meeting have been informed that in 2018, 88 cases of burglaries have been registered in the administrative territory of the region, which is 34 or 63% more than in 2017.
In 2018, 83 cases of road traffic offenses have been registered in the region compared to 68 of the last year, the number of crimes of this type has increased by 15 or 22.1%.
In conclusion, the prosecutor of the region Arsen Martirosyan has assured that the prosecutor's office of the region will be consistent in the implementation of the process and will receive regular information on actual and planned work.
