The Prosecutor's Office of Vayots Dzor region summed up the fight against corruption-related crimes for 9 months of 2018. During the 9 months of 2018 in 2 corruption-related criminal cases, considered in court four people have been sentenced.
Within the framework of the mentioned criminal cases, criminal proceedings have been initiated against 5 persons.
Corruption offenses on the basis of which criminal cases have been initiated were mainly registered in the fields of education, transport, social security and local self-government.
In general, for the first 9 months of 2018, 1,902,000 drams have been returned to the state budget for corruption-related crimes, and 3,482,000 drams have been returned to the community budget.
