Criminal cases have been initiated in the Prosecutor’s Office of Lori Region concerning the facts of apparent abuse in the process of provision of social benefits by the employees of Regional Social Service Agencies.
Taking into consideration that the prepared materials contain features of receiving a particularly large amount of illegal remuneration by a non-official public servant, and giving illegal remuneration to a non-official public servant by the decision of the prosecutor of Lori Region a criminal case has been initiated under Point 2 Part 4 of Art. 311 1 and Part 2 of Art. 312 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
With a view to conduct preliminary investigation two criminal cases have been sent to the Investigative Department of Lori Region of the RA Investigative Committee.
Notice: Every person suspected in or charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent unless proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code and unless the verdict comes into legal force.
