The RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan, as part of summing up the results of the activities of the prosecutor's office for 2017, held a meeting in the Prosecutor's Office of Armavir region of the Republic of Armenia in which took part the governor of Armavir region Ashot Kagramanyan and other law enforcement officials.
The prosecutor of Armavir region of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Hovhannisyan presented the general state of crime in the region for 2017, the indicators of the criminal law struggle against it, problems, the main results of the prosecutor's supervision over the legality of inquest and preliminary investigation carried out in cases of recorded crimes.
Taking into account the intensification of entrepreneurship and investment, especially in the field of agriculture, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia expressed his opinion on eliminating the interference of criminal prosecution authorities with regard to economic and civil disputes, on one hand, and on the other hand, the need to promptly respond to possible criminal offenses and ensure the protection of rights of subjects.
Based on this, as well as the peculiarities of the state of crime in Armavir region, from the results of the prosecutor's office of the region, the RA Prosecutor General made a number of recommendations.
