Criminal case on the attempt of murder near the café in Gyumri along with the bill of indictment were sent to the General Jurisdiction Court of First Instance of Shirak Region.
On the 26th of June a criminal case was initiated. In the result of preliminary investigation it was found out that during the argument with Georgi Hakobyan Artyom Ghazaryan with an unidentified person tried to kill him and soon after the event he left the scene in Karen Sargsyan’s car.
On the basis of proof that has been collected on the 1st of July a decision was made to involve Artyom Sargsyan and Karen Sargsyan as defendants. Karen Sargsyan was detained and Artyom Ghazaryan was announced wanted. On the 18th of August he was found by the policemen and detained. Criminal case was initiated under the RA Criminal Code Article 34-104 part 2 points 6 and 7 and Article 235 part 1.
On the 28th of December criminal case along with the bill of indictment were sent to the General Jurisdiction Court of First Instance of Shirak Region.
Notice: Every person suspected in or charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent unless proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code and unless the verdict comes into legal force.
