28.04.2017 | RA Military Prosecutor has paid a working visit to the Military Prosecutor’s Offices of Shirak, Lori and Sevan Garrisons

RA Military Prosecutor has had a meeting at the Military Prosecutor’s Offices of Shirak, Lori and Sevan Garrisons. The representatives of other law-enforcement agencies of the above-mentioned regions have also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting Military Prosecutor’s of the Garrisons have reported about the state and motives of the crime as well as presented data on the detection of crimes and work aimed at their improvement.

Regarding the figures detecting crimes against state property, RA Military Prosecutor Vahe Harutyunyan has given recomenndations to be more consistent with the measures aimed at their prevention, especially with the aim of ensuring effective, full, complete and objective investigation of criminal cases of grave and especially grave crimes.

According to the Military Prosecutor, not detected crimes are the result of investigative actions and operative - search measure delays.

Referring to the problems of crime prevention, Vahe Harutyunyan has emphasized the importance of revealing in each case during the preliminary investigation the reasons and circumstances, contributing to the commitment of the crime and the necessity to take prosecutorial actions with the aim to eliminate them.

In order to increase the efficiency of the performed work, RA Military Prosecutor attached importance to the coordination, unity, predictability and publicity of the work of law enforcement agencies.
Summing up the results, RA Military Prosecutor Vahe Harutyunyan gave a number of recommendations.

Meetings will be held at all the Garrisons of the RA Military Prosecutor’s Offices.
