A criminal case under the features of the RA Criminal Code Article 296 part 3 has been initiated in the Prosecutor’s Office Ajapnyak and Davtashen Administrative District on the fact of illegal cutting of trees in Davtashen Administrative District. In the result of the measures undertaken it was found out that the trees in front of the pool “Dolphin” in Aghababyan Street of the Yerevan City had been cut by A. S., who on April 10, 2017 at 11:30 was brought to the Police and where he confessed his guilt. He testified that on April 8, 2017 at about 10:30 he had used his own chainsaw to cut 23 poplar trees.
During the preparation of the materials, it has been found out that in total 29 poplar and elm trees have been cut down in the above-mentioned territory.
The damage caused to the nature made 2.860.000 AMD.
By the instruction of the prosecutor of Prosecutor’s Office Ajapnyak and Davtashen Administrative District A. S. was arrested under the suspicion of committing a socially dangerous act under the RA Criminal Code Article 296 part 3.
