By 21 March, 2017, working group of the RA Prosecutor General’s office studied 173 media publications about the alleged election violations, one anonymous call received by the RA Police and 2 calls received by the RA Prosecutor General’s office hotline regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections on 2 April.
38 out of the 176 studied reports contained clear signs of electoral offences.
The above-mentioned 38 reports were sent to the relevant territorial divisions of the RA Police with the aim of checking the mentioned data. By the results of the check it was found out that facts either have been denied or have not been confirmed. Supervision of other reports is still in process.
