The preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on November 25, 2016 on the fact of committing theft by embezzlement by the director of Maralik's Children's and Youth Sports School SNCO, being an official and using his official position, artificially nominated himself for the post of coach of Greco-Roman wrestling and in the period from January 1, 2013 to November 1, 2016, without actually performing the functions of a coach, during the same period has written off and received a salary under his name- in a total amount of 1,631,566 AMD, which he embezzled. Besides, during 2013-2016, different people were artificially appointed for the vacancies of wrestling and football club coaches, receiving salaries written off under their names respectively in the amount of 1,692,610 and 2,248,680 AMD, stealing an especially large amount of 3,941,290 AMD by the way of embezzlement.
By the instruction of the prosecutor conducting procedural supervision over the criminal case on the basis of being suspected in immediate commitment of crime on January 30 2017 E.B. was arrested.
