By the order of the RA Prosecutor General, a working group was set up to study the publications of the press and other mass media products on possible electoral violations during the preparation and conduct of the parliamentary elections, which will be held on April 2, 2017, messages of the citizens and calls to the hot line of RA Prosecutor General's Office, transfer of jurisdiction, discussion of these messages, to improve the effectiveness of procuratorial oversight of materials prepared on their basis and of preliminary investigation of initiated criminal cases and to coordinate the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia in thаt sphere. RA Deputy Prosecutor General A. Aslanian was appointed as a head of the working group. The working group was tasked to ensure close cooperation and work publicity with monitoring and other interested organizations.
