30.09.2019 | The Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan has paid a working visit to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan

The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Artur Davtyan has paid a working visit to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan with a view to take part in the works of the session of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors' General of Member-States of the CIS / Bishkek /, as well as in the works of the regular session of Prosecutors' General of the SCO member states.

 

During the 29th session of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors' General of Member-States of the CIS, it is planned to discuss the results of the activities of the Coordination Council for 2018, issues related to joint programs in the fight against crime, the exchange of experience carried out in the framework of issues regarding various aspects of prosecutorial powers. There will be raised the issue of the effectiveness of the implementation of international treaties in the framework of the fight against crime.

 

During the agenda of the regular session of Prosecutors' General of the SCO member states will be discussed the issue of improving mechanisms to strengthen cooperation between countries that are partners in the field of prevention of smuggling, illicit drug trafficking. At both sessions, Artur Davtyan will deliver a speech.

 

Within the framework of the visit, the RA Prosecutor General will meet with the Prosecutor Generals, heads of delegations of the participating countries. As a result of the meeting with the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev, it is planned to sign a memorandum on cooperation between the prosecutor general's offices of the two countries.
