14.11.2018 | The Prosecutors General of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran have signed a cooperation program in Tehran

Today a meeting has been held between the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia and the Prosecutor General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Artur Davtyan and Mohammad Jafar Montazeri.

 

Extending gratitude for the warm welcome, Artur Davtyan has expressed his confidence that the meeting of the Prosecutors General of the two countries would be the start of a new phase of cooperation, and would help further develop and strengthen relations between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries.

 

During the meeting, the parties have discussed prospects for the development of cooperation between the two systems, issues relating to the practice of providing mutual legal assistance.

 

Concerning the issues discussed, the parties have reached an agreement.

 

Based on the results of the meeting, the Prosecutors General of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran have signed a cooperation program for 2019-2020.

 

The RA Prosecutor General has invited Mr. Montazeri to Armenia.
